Experimental Visual Music

The following videos are different visual experiments, ranging from the strictly geometrical to the representational to the naturally psychedelic.

Shanty Spot is an escalating geometric rhythm that becomes more energetic and rocking until the very end.  It features music from the Austin-based band The Bright Light Social Hour; check them out if you can.

Dammit Pollock is an extremely quick but nonetheless appropriate homage to Jackson Pollock, who had his centennial just last year.

Sunrock uses an accumulation of images and visuals from the Joshua Tree National Park, the continual distortion of the environment of which is representative of the destructive yet transcendental journey that one takes to understand the magnitude of nature in the context of clarifying the sanctity of their own soul.  Long story short: it’s a mindtrip.
