Croods Review in the Daily Trojan

The Croods: More Than Your Average Modern Stone Age Family

So, to summarize: Chris Sanders, why didn’t you just create the characters?  Although I want all of the creatures to exist as actual creatures, since they seem to be where all of the creativity went as far as the look of the world.

Inspiration for Thesis

As I’m trying to figure out the best way to approach my upcoming Thesis, tentatively called Conquis, and just figuring out a new way to approach action sequences, something like this comes along and basically justifies what I’m hoping to accomplish with my work.  Directed by Michael Langan and Terah Maher, it’s just so visually rewarding and dreamlike.  This is just what I was looking for!

This is even more crazy considering that I’ve been listening to a lot of Steve Reich recently; is it too late to claim this as my own?

The First Time Around…

I would hope to have something a big more poignant to say this time around; however, I’m liking the results so far and glad that the internet has gotten around to being able to generate this level of customization for a guy that honestly has never made a website before.  If I can do it, you can too!

In the meantime, to show that I have interest other than pretty colors, here’s the latest from my column for the Daily Trojan.
